Over this past spring I spent 10 weeks putting together my first stop motion short for the School of Film and Animation at the Rochester Institute of Technology. As someone who has been frequenting this site for a while now, I would love it if some of you could take a look at it and tell me what you think!
The movie can be found here.
Great expression of character throughout, just by body movement and the versatile proboscis!
Not so strong on the ending though - it didn't feel like a conclusion so much as the start of the next phase. I was waiting to see what happened next. But it kept my interest all the way through and if there was another episode to come I would tune in. The design of the bee and the animation really worked.
Nick, as usual, beat me to it. Can't add or subtract anything to what he said. For your first stopmo clip, I have to say, "Well done!"
I thought it was such a cute video. Loved the emotions that the bee showed, esp. the crying. Well done.
I agree on the ending, it would certainly be the area to focus on if I had more time. As for "another episode", I do have other ideas for this guy in my head, so I guess we'll see what happens!
