Recently I got some vintage Nikkor lenses but my live view looks awful!
Has anyone have
experience with Eos Live view correction cap? I am wondering if this will be the solution to my problem
I have never seen that automatic exposure compensation thing. Not sure why you would need that cap thing.
I use old manual Nikkor lenses with my Canon EOS bodies. I stop the lens down to somewhere around f-11 usually, and have a long exposure to compensate, around 1 sec to 2 sec. This makes the live view very dark, so I go to Cinematography>Camera Settings and adjust the live view brightness enough to get something similar to the real exposure, which usually means going all the way up to +4. It's not automatic, it's just picking the setting that lets me see my animation clearly.
