When Edelkrone and DF play well together, it is a great combination -- but also very finicky.
-Be sure your modules all have most recent firmware updates.
-if slide module isn't responding to commands through DF and the stop motion module, does it move when using the controls in the iPhone app?
-if slider powers on, but no response from either DF or app -- is slider locked? is the belt off the guides or is belt too tight/loose maybe?
-if powering from batteries, perhaps try using the power adapter instead to ensure proper, constant power.
-in DF, trying clearing your ARC move and resetting your key points. Turn off all axes except slide and test from there to eliminate other factors.
hope you find a solution.
Thanks much for the reply, this is working now, I was trying to step outside the rules here, I despise the edelkrone apps insistence on being involved in everything, the pan, tilt, and focus work without connecting the app, but not the slide, so I have to have the app running when starting and setting everything up, then one can quit after everything is up and running. I mostly use my edelkrone setup with the new remote so I don't have to use the app that way, doing just key pose stuff, I enjoy working that way.
With the advent of adding Dragonframe to the mix I think this will be a much better way to do my stop motion stuff. Just needed to figure it out.
