taking one frame at a time since 1999

Hello all! Just completed my first video in stop motion. It's a music video for an excellent musician named Nolan Potter. Let me know what yall think. Thanks :)

Fun use of cut-out animation, well executed!  I liked the sculpted book cover too.  I did find that 8 1/2 minutes is a bit long for my attention-deficit brain to focus without a clear narrative to pull me along - I was good for just over 4 minutes, then started to glaze over.  But that is the length of the track so I guess that was out of your hands.

I Really enjoyed watching this video, and very impressive results given this was your very first stop mo film. The Monty Python spirit is all over the film, I mean the Terry spirit. I agree with John it may be quite too long to know where all is going, perhaps split in pairs of 2 minutes could make a little series for people like me and Nick. I still enjoy as it is, but just giving ideas.

Thanks very much! I'm a big fan of your work actually, so that means alot. Yeah, narrative wise it's very loose, which typically isn't how I like to do things. But the musician was wanting something more ambiguous which I get. Thanks again though! I've been trying to get into claymation and your videos have been really helpful.

Thank you! Gilliam is god! haha. Yeah, I think you and StopMo Nick are definitely right. In the future I'm gonna try and do more concentrated projects, both for my own sanity and that of any potential viewer. This project's length was good to learn as you go, but definitely asks alot of anyone wanting to watch.

Great job and congrats on your first stopmo film. That is a lot of work. Very entertaining. It was an epic love story.

Thank you, dude! Haha, unless Henry Kissinger is involved it isn't a true love story.
