Hi, I'm using a Sony A7s camera with Dragonframe to shoot a stopmo film—the problem is that it takes about 10 seconds before Dragonframe shows the live preview and is able to take another shot (otherwise it says it "failed to capture an image). Does anyone know if this is a camera issue or Dragonframe issue?
Look at the DF website, check their compatible cameras list. I've only ever used Nikon or Canon with DF.
I looked, and I see that the A7 is not recommended, and they suggest you buy a used Canon EOS. But the A7s should be ok with Dragonframe 4.1.10. But not for earlier versions of DF. https://www.dragonframe.com/camera-support/#camerasupport
We just had another user report this issue... but we don't see it with our cameras, at least not yet.
Please help us out by reporting the problem through Dragonframe itself, following these instructions:
After considerable investigation... we are fairly confident that this was caused by the camera's "Auto Review" setting.
When the camera is showing the image it does not provide the live view.
So it's just a setting on the camera that needs to be turned off.
