StopMotionAnimation.com

taking one frame at a time since 1999

Hi All,

It's been a while since I've been on this site and wow, what an exciting change! I spent a lot of time here learning the art of stop motion, then went off and made my first stop mo short called Zero.

Since then, I've made a second stop motion short which has screened at over 60 festivals and picked up a bunch of awards along the way. I'm proud to announce it's now online and would love for you to check it out and if you don't mind, voting for it (it's an online festival).

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to answer my questions in the past, or for sharing your own projects and experiences for others to learn from.

** EDIT ** Thanks to everyone who voted for our little film. I'm please to report that we actually won the audience voted award. Cheers!

Regards,

Chris.

That's a great film, beautiful work, really enjoyed it.  You can have my vote!

Super cool short!

You got another vote!

Thank you for sharing.

The animation worked, but I absolutely loved the lighting, set work, and overall look of the piece.

Wonderful.

Thanks all, your positive feedback means a lot to me.

Whoah - didn't see that ending coming, it makes sense of the whole thing. Beautiful film!  And perfect.   And original.

Oops, I got so caught up in it I forgot to vote, had to go back and do it.

Excellence work!

I love this piece and it gets you thinking how many came before, how many came after, what started it all, and does it ever end. My mind got so wrapped around this I was almost stressed for these poor amazing creatures. Great work!

Haha don't forget the vote! Thanks for the kind words Nick, I appreciate it!

Thanks. I'm writing a feature version of this short that answers all these questions. Though writing a script and actually getting it made is a long shot. Stay tuned :)

Got my vote, loved the set, the small details and of course the mysterious story. Don't explain everything in your expanded version, mystery is good for the brain! Hope you do well. Keith

I agree with Keith, a bit of mystery's great! I loved it, charming, quirky, beautifully made in every respect. I even grew to love the characters' creepy teeth! In fact, I loved it so much that apart from voting for it, I went and bought a high-res download. Good luck with your future projects, Christopher!
