I wasn't sure where to post this but if anyone would like to see my studio set up ive created a new blog to document my progress thus far! I am quite new to stop motion so please forgive my crude design work thus far. I am simply feeling my away around and testing the waters.
Looks like a good setup!
I don't often need to change the height of my table, but I could see the steel shelving does give you a bit more flexibility.
The geared head looks like a Manfrotto, similar to what I have, but I'm not familiar with the Konovo slider you have there. Have you done a tracking shot with it yet?
Thanks for checking it out Nick!! Ive only fooled around a bit with it... nothing professional by any means... but it has a built in ruler on the front which allows ease of incremental movement...
Looks like a very nice set up. I am working in a (albeit reasonably sized ) shed at the moment and building sets and puppets in the same space as filming them which does present some problems. When my son moves out I think I might have his room :) . Like your animation table , good and sturdy and as Nick said gives a degree of flexibility. Good stuff.
Thanks so much for checking it out Tony!! It's definitely working out well so far!! I eyed our shed a couple times and decided i needed a little closer to the air conditioner hahahaha
That was awesome.
