Hi, Daniel, looked at all your pics making this character. I'm making my 1st build up foam body puppet with polymer feet. I want to sculpt her head in van Aiken clay on foil core but not sure how to attach it to body. Right now I have the main wire, 16guage I think, sticking out of body with enough to wrap around the foil core before adding clay.will I be able to turn her heard if I go this way? Not sure if the neck will be strong enough. Looks like your guy's head has a whole that sits on the neck, right? Thanks oh yeah my armature is wire built.

Hey thanks, yes the head for my puppet was atached to the body by to part apoxy glue, but I did glue it a ball and socket joint so I could turn and brnd the head fully, as for yours been made of of wire. I would say the best way to attach the head to your body is by K&S. If you have any more questions fell free to email me I'll be happy to help out :)

Thanks so much, I see now what you mean looking at the armature better. Well this is my first one so I shouldn't expect perfection i know. The only others I've made are just twisted foil and clay... not much movement there. lol so I thought I would venture into the world of wire armatures and tie downs. I will look into the K&S method, the poly clay  shoes that I made and cured on her feet softened and fell apart, not sure if it was a chemical reaction to the  plummer's epoxy putty feet or what but -live and learn. BTW we newbies would be totally lost without you guys posting your videos and tutorials, you're a life saver. Thanks again
