Puppet Putty in its professional packaging.
Try saying THAT five times fast! :)
Why thank ya, Stamp.
Yeah I think the roll style looks good also!
I think in order for it to be brought to you by Stamp Motion Studio, I'd have to surgically remove your soul from your body and implant into mine. Then I'd have to change my name. j/kSeriously though, thanks! Does the roll-style packaging work for you?
Haha, in seriousness, I think it looks great! can't wait to get some of that stuff myself!
Hmm, I think there is something missing with the label...Maybe "Brought to you by Stamp Motion Studio!" :P
Hmmm, I need to cut my fingernails.
Haha! Nice... Nick Noticed!
Been having a heck of a time getting this stuff to melt, though. Adding wax to it only made it shiny. So I had a very strong drink and then got a crazy idea... "What if...Instead of trying to get this stuff into molds, I simply spooned it out, waited for it to cool, took off what was needed to get the right weight, put on some gloves, and then rolled it into a log of clay and packaged it THAT way?
Roll of clay carefully contorted
Now there's no mold to get it into and out of, and the thickness can be measured against the other rolls already made. The clay still will not melt to pourable consistency, but that isn't needed in the production pipeline, and it allows the original intended quality to be possible. It's a goofy idea, but it solves the pouring problem. It also allows me the chance to pack up some of the other clay that wouldn't pour into the mold. If I wanted to make smaller packages, I'd just halve the weight and make smaller rolls. :) Accidentally printed up some smaller labels yesterday to start with, so that would be a good use for them...We could do quarter-rolls, which would be about the size of a roll of quarters. Each brick could simply be cut in fours, rolled, and labeled- and the price per color could be 1/4 of the full size roll. It's fun to get creative with marketing- sometimes you gotta think outside the BRICK!
Peter Piper picked a pack of Puppet Putty, professionally packaged.
