once upon a blue moon

I've decided to change to name of my short from "Washed up" to "Once upon a blue moon" (that title might well change again), since the action is now set in outer space.  

I've been busy making a spaceship from a garden water spray bottle with some deodorant sticks and some cheap plastic binoculars for boosters

Madame Tutli-Putli

I saw an animation the other day that I found to be really inspiring.



the film is "Madame Tutli-Putli". The film used cg for the eyes of the protagonist though I'm not sure about the other characters but there's a big chance that they did that.

The CG'd eye of actress Laurie Walker is just mesmerizing and surely did it affect the whole film. Those eyes took my attention and started clouding my head with question about the material and the how they may have formed the facial…

Stop Motion and 2D animation Hybrid.

Our professor asked us to do a Stop Motion and 2D type animation in one film.

I found the idea to be really interesting. I would love to work on this asap. 



But upon researching I really haven't seen anything like this. 

I would like to ask if anyone here had any experience on filming similar type of film or if you happen to cross upon one on the Internets.
