I've decided to change to name of my short from "Washed up" to "Once upon a blue moon" (that title might well change again), since the action is now set in outer space.  

I've been busy making a spaceship from a garden water spray bottle with some deodorant sticks and some cheap plastic binoculars for boosters

washed up

I've made a mold for my robot hands, I'm just using whats quick and and available so it's made out of silicone.  Probably not ideal as its going to be a silicone on silicone mold, but I'm assured that as long as I spray on lots of J wax (or whatever release agent in the cupboard) it should be okay.

I didn't mix some of the catalyst into the silicone well enough so it didn't go off.  Luckily one of the more experienced maintenance crew was able to save it (you can see the colour…

We're just winding down on a new series at work and its becoming unusually quiet, so I came up with a really simple idea for a short mini series.  The idea was to make it as simple as possible, one set and a couple of easy to make characters.
