Hi guys, this is my final and FIRST real stop motion animation video so i would like your comments, opinions and ofcourse criticism, either bad or good :D It's called "The ball in the park" and it's about a ball flying through the park :D My assignment was to use various stop motion techniques so i have 4 of them: cutout, pixilation, brickfilm and clay. Enjoy! :)

My first stop motion video about a ball in the park made with various stop motion techniques

That was actually pretty good for a first effort. At least you told a story, which most newbies don't bother with. The best part was the guy kicking the ball away and then it rolls back to him. I could see that expanding into a film of its own: the story of a lonely little ball that only wants to be played with, so it clings to various people trying to find a friend.

Thanks for the comment :) First my mentor said I could make separate videos for each technique but I wanted to connect them all in a little story to be more interesting.

That guy kicking the ball was me :D I had to concentrate really hard to make all that little moves.I guess it could develop into a film lol :D

Also I have to say that Plasticine is homemade, I've cooked it and colored it by myself :D

Next you're going to tell me you built the camera yourself!

LOL :D

I used Canon 550D :) But I really made my own Plasticine..actually it's play-doh, simple recipe really

That is quite well done! I was looking for footprints to show up in the sand from whoever was animating the ball, but there were none - most beginners wouldn't have thought of that. And great job erasing the rigs!

Thanks :)

I've put so much effort and time in making this video and I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with the result..considering it's actually my first ever stop motion try :)

My mentor first said I could have 4 separate videos but I wanted to have some kind of a story connecting all of the 4 types/techniques I've used so I've just put them all together.
