inexpensive sculpting/smoothing tool

Hi folks, There is a great item I saw mention of in an old Will Vinton Productions article featuring Mike McKinney. In the article he said his favorite sculpting tool was a BIC pen cap. You leave it on the pen and roll it on whatever plasticine you're working with and it will flatten out imperfections. You can also use it to press clay onto a surface, if you're making a set wall or floor with an expanse of flatness. Makes a good "wipe-out" tool as well, as it's easy to smooth out cracks and join pieces together seamlessly. http://www.taxitradepromotions.co.uk/user/products/large/Pen_Bic_Blue.jpg Not bad, a pack of 12 retails for under $3.00 USD. If you are a clay animator, this will help you with your dialog shots like you wouldn't believe.
