How do I show my final exposures/final rendered images in my x-sheet while I am animating on Dragonframe?

I am currently working on a self-animated pixilation animation, in which I am animating myself with a self-timed capture. And I have found difficulty in animating myself as Dragonframe only presents the first exposure of an image in its X-sheet rather than the final image, and as a result both the x sheet image, and the final images in the folders appear radically different. The pictures in the x sheet showing me when I first pressed by timed control. Is there anyway to solve this, so I can view my final images on my X-sheet?

I tried and then confused myself lol  I'm sure someone will answer you soon..

whilst your waiting you could write DF:   support@dragonframe.com

they pretty good.. they will probably tell you..

sorry couldn't be more helpful..

Hmm. To capture in DF you have to press the button in DF, not a camera remote timer. So ideally you would need their wireless remote controller, and when you press that button to take a frame, it will capture what it sees at that moment.

I have done pixilation with a remote timer, but not through DF. I think you are not using the program for what it is intended, and would go without it. Alternatively have a look through their manual to see if this sort of delayed exposure is supported.

Yeah I know what you mean Simon.. I done that on my Pixillation assignment for my course last year.. there's also a time lapse option though isn't there on DF where you can set it to take a frame automatically every 1 or 5 or 10 secs or whatever and set controls, for 1x min or 5 or 10 or whatever, and limit the amount of frames it can take.. so there is an auto feature for taking frames without touching the DF keypad, wireless or wired...  but it's time-lapse, so you could do the pixillation action, but you would have to act out the required frame, let it go off, then get into position for the next frame and wait until it goes off again etc.. I found this stressful though didn't really work for me, it put pressure on me to get into position knowing the camera was going off every 10xseconds or even if I set it to a minute.. I found it frustrating then waiting for the next frame to go off,  when I was ready after 20xseconds and I have wait 40x seconds for it to take the pic, then sometimes I would lose focus and it go off when I wasn't ready lol so this sort of system doesn't really work out that well... it's like torture.. you have to have such focus and patience and be good to get into position to act out the frame... I was listening to an animator talk about how she directs people for pixillation and it's not easy even when you have someone to do the production whilst you act out.. it's certainly challenging to say the least... good luck with your project Charles...
