taking one frame at a time since 1999

Woo Hoo!  I just put in my order for Vol 2 of Jim Danforth's autobiography, published by Archive Editions.  It is published on a CD rather than as a printed book, which I would have preferred, but it does manage to fit a huge amount of material in this way.  The first one was great, with a real insight into what it was like actually working in the industry.  Jim actually sent me a a complementary copy of Vol 1, but I didn't like the idea of him losing sales by giving away copies to the very people who were his best customers, so I bought a copy to send to someone who probably wouldn't have been able to afford the $40 at that time.  This volume is only $30, since the software he needed to put it together was paid for by sales of the first volume.

There is a third volume in preparation, so I hope sales of this one are good so that one can come out fairly soon.

Ordered mine!

Ordered mine October 5th ... can't wait (O.K. I guess I'll have to ;-)

I received my copy today - surprised it arrived so fast.

I just spent two hours jumping through it.  It quite interesting, and definitely worth the price.   Growing up in Sountern Califoria, it was great to see all the locations Jim used to film Timegate and others - a trip down memory lane for me.

Sad to see so many great film concepts that were never made.
