I am applying for a grant and part of the application includes costs. I would like to pay someone to mentor me (8 days on character design, 8 days on reviewing the movement of my practice animation of a figure dancing on a record player) over a period of four months between May and August this year.
I've made four films so far and would class myself as intermediate.
I am making three versions of the same five minute stop motion clay animation film, to a song by Moderat. I am about to start the second version and the period of development would be before the third and final version. I would love to know if this is something someone on here might consider helping me with, and if so what your daily rate is, and a link to any work you might have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jacob. I just saw your post. I don't think you need to pay for advice. Just ask anyone on this site. No one will give you 8 days worth of their time but what they tell you in a couple of sentences may be worth more.
As to your grant application, that is another matter. Any free-lance animator (most of us) can give you an estimate that U can submit so you can get your paperwork done. That is the easy part.
