Just in case anyone missed this on Facebook and the SMA chat:
Expert-level, techniques taught by Emmy Award- winning animators. This is a digital Robot Chicken workshop given by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios' top animators, covering all of the techniques they use to create the frantic, snappy, and uber-gestural style of movement. It is also the first studio to ever offer animation instruction as a digital download. Independent animators have done this, but until now, no studio ever has. So this is kind of new and exciting, and a great way to get animators trained up from anywhere in the world.
Thanks for the tip Don. I purchased and downloaded the tutorial. It is 1.7gb. The main topic is about animation principles such as anticipation, ease in and out, arcs, overlapping action and etc. It is quite detailed. There is not much about cameras, making puppets, sets and etc. The primary focus is on the characters pose and movements.
Those are the hardest parts to get right!
